WANOSCG Drakaea livida - Warty Hammer Orchid

Derivation of name:
'livida' means blue or blueish and could be referring to the warts on the labellum.

Where is it found?
Mainly between Perth and Albany, between the coast and the edge of the wheatbelt.

When does it flower?
Mid August to early October

What is its usual habitat?
Sandy areas in forests.

How to distinguish from similar species?
Different from Drakaea confluens by upturned labellum tip and earlier flowering period.
