Somewhat similar in size and shape to the Carousel Spider Orchid, these orchids are distinguished by their huge labellum with very long fringing that sometimes has split ends. The Grand Spider Orchid is found between Perth and Busselton. It is listed as Threatened Flora as much of its former habitat has been cleared. The Scott River Spider Orchid is much the same as the Grand Spider Orchid, but is a tad smaller and is less colourful. It is found from Busselton to Augusta. It probably intergrades with the Grand Spider Orchid where the two distributions meet.
