The Midget Greenhood is a small orchid with tiny flowers (~5mm - the smallest greenhood in WA). Common in the eastern wheatbelt. This orchid often grows among large eucalypts, in very dry and barren looking soils. The Northampton Midget Greenhood is much the same and is distinguished by having lighter green flowers and stems and leaves with wavy edges. It is found in a few locations near Northampton and is listed as rare flora.
