2019, October – It is a true privilege to have another day of life, in nurturing circumstances

Dear God,

I have awakened to another day of life, for which I am so very grateful.  I appreciate that I am Your child and living in this beautiful place, when so many people barely have sufficient of anything that is needed for health, a rewarding life; or realistic future.  Raise our awareness of our brothers and sisters in privation all over the world, and place into our mind, and attitude of gratitude and sharing.

Again as I read the psalms, I marvel at the breadth of David’s feelings, thoughts and praise as well as love for You, along with his recognition of Your Majesty and power.  Psalm 25: 4-6 “Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths.  Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day.  Remember O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your loving kindnesses, for they are from of old.”

I have found that it is true, You teach and lead the humble; and I again pray for humility and a teachable attitude. So many times over the past year, to this very day and moment, You have helped me through situations and concerns.  When I have asked You to do so, You have led me every day, rescued me, bought me back and redirected me, and guided me on the pathway to renewal and hope; physically, mentally and spiritually.  I bow before You and I pray with the intention to reconsecrate myself to You, asking that I be used by You today ad each day.  Please fill me with the Holy Spirit, for I crave to be filled with the full portion of the fruit of the Holy Spirit and to please You, as I have asked to walk in the Spirit.

Psalm 25: 18 “Look on my affliction and my pain,, and forgive all my sins.”  Verse 20 “Keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.”  With all the sincerity that You give my Lord, I pray these words of David, as if formed by myself.

Thank you for allowing me, to fulfil these sentiments and form words of prayers, as the Psalmist does by Your impression.

Amen
