Week 1 – Bible verses for prayer, praise and contemplation

Psalm 91: 9 and 10 “Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the Most High, they habitation, there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh they dwelling.”

Deuteronomy 7: 9 “You, Lord are the faithful God, You keep Your covenant and Your loving kindness to a thousand generations of those who love You and keep Your commands.”

Proverbs 8: 32 and 33 “Now therefore, listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways.  Hear my instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it.”

Proverbs 8: 35 “For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord.  But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.”

Psalm 118: 28 and 29 “You are my God, and I will give thanks to You.  You are my God, and I will exalt You.  I will give thanks to You, Lord for You are good.  Your loyal love endures forever.”

1 Timothy 6:15 “…..(last part)He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of Kings and the Lord of lords.” V16 “Who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power.”
